From the ballet archives...

I've embarked on a quest to scan many of my old negatives from high school photography classes.  I tackled the first batch of more than 200 photos this weekend, starting with a series of photographs that I took documenting the rehearsal process for my ballet school's production of Coppelia in 2004.
Garland Girls

Digitizing these images has turned into a bit of a walk down memory lane.  I spent almost 15 hours a week with some of these girls during high school, but at this point haven't seen most of them in 7 or 8 years.  I'm still friends with several of them on Facebook, though, and it's fun to follow what they've been up to!

(This image, by the way, is from a studio rehearsal of the "garland girls" segment of the ballet.  A selection of my other favorite photos from this series can be found here.)
