A few weeks ago, I talked my way into photographing Madison Ballet's performance of Dracula. This was a really fun production, with a rock score written by local composer Michael Massey, steampunk-inspired costumes and sets, and some really great (and very intense) dancing.
I'm still working my way through my photos from dress rehearsal, but I wanted to post this teaser, from the scene in which Van Helsing and friends battled Dracula and his minions. These red costumes were gorgeous on stage, and moved beautifully as the dancers danced (and jumped, ran, and rolled on the floor!).
More to come :-)
